Noted horticulturist and author Ruth Rogers Clausen will be the featured speaker at the Garden Club of Peekskill's Community Outreach Meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Clausen, author of the guide "50 Beautiful Deer-Resistant Plants," will discuss how to properly maintain your garden and smart ways to keep deer away without installing a fence. Clausen trained in England and now lives in Maryland.
