Peekskill Mourns Officer

Peekskill is still reeling from the death of Christopher Vazeos, a 23-year veteran of the Peekskill police department, who committed suicide July 11. "With profound sadness I announce and mourn the passing of longtime City of Peekskill police officer and my longtime friend and client, Chris Vazeos," Mayor Frank Catalina posted on his Facebook page.
