A 26-year-old Peekskill resident was arrested for shoplifting a jacket at a Kohl's department store in Cortlandt Manor on Thursday. Eric T. Flores was arrested for two counts of Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor after State Troopers were dispatched to Kohl's department store for a larceny complaint, according to state police.

Peekskill Takes Ownership Of Scenic Hudson Park

It may have taken more than 17 years, but the city of Peekskill has finally received ownership of the Scenic Hudson Park at Peekskill Landing from the Scenic Hudson Land Trust , according to Mayor Frank Catalina. Peekskill Man Charged with Felony DWI in Croton

New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Manuel H. Niguela-Pesantez, 35, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Felony, on Oct. 17. Troopers stopped the vehicle the Peekskill resident was operating for speeding on State Route 9. They concluded that he was intoxicated following an investigation conducted at the time of the stop. Niguela-Pesantez supplied a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .22 percent, police said.
