Tarrytown Schools Secretary Accused Of Stealing Thousands Faces Charges

The longtime Tarrytown Union Free School District and Putnam County resident accused of stealing more than $10,000 from her employer was back in court this week for a pre-trial appearance. Last week, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced that 53-year-old Carol Ressa of Lake Peekskill has been arraigned in Sleepy Hollow Village Court, where she was charged with felony counts of third-degree grand larceny, and grand larceny as a public corruption case.

A longtime employee of the Tarrytown Union Free School District and Putnam resident has been arraigned on charges that she allegedly stole more than $10,000 from her employer.
