Although it came down to the wire, officials in Peekskill have "secured the future" of the city's longstanding Fourth of July fireworks display. According to members of "Peekskill United," the Fourth of July fireworks show was in danger of being canceled due to a rise in cost and lack of donations to help further the cause.
