Peekskill officials agreed to pay $5.4 million to Jeffrey Deskovic, who had filed a federal lawsuit for being wrongly convicted of murder as a teen-ager, according to lohud.com Deskovic was convicted and sentenced to 15 years to life when he was 16 years old in connection with the murder of Peekskill schoolmate Angela Correa.
