Six people were arrested in Peekskill Monday morning after erecting a 20-foot tripod in an attempt to block construction of the Spectra pipeline. The six people, four women and two men, were charged with criminal trespassing in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor after being arrested at 7 a.m. on Albany Post Road near the intersection of Lower South Street, according to Paul Astrologo of the Peekskill Police.
