The Field Library in Peekskill will present esteemed concert pianist Professor Pierluigi Sampietro in a special masterclass on Wednesday, Aug. 24. The masterclass will be on the works of Mozart, Bach, Chopin and more. Sampietro will lecture on three cycles of music -- Baroque, Rococo and Romantic -- and play excerpts from his CD, "Bach-Sampietro Transcendental Studies."
