New York State Police arrested Devon R. Beaufort of Peekskill, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor, following the report of a wrong-way driver traveling on the Taconic State Parkway early Monday morning. Troopers were searching for the wrong-way vehicle and located it traveling southbound in the northbound lanes in the area of mile post marker 5.5. Troopers stopped the offending vehicle at about 3:30 a.m., which was operated by Beaufort, without incident.
