The moose that captivated residents in Northern Westchester and the surrounding area a few weeks ago appears to have moved on to greener pastures. Wendy Rosenbach of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation said they have not received any reporters of the moose since Tuesday, July 12, shortly after Daily Voice first reported the moose was spotted alongside the Bear Mountain Parkway on the Cortlandt/Peekskill border.
