It's National Women's Equality Day, Peekskill

The passage of the 19th Amendment was a victory for women that began in 1848 at the first-ever Women's Rights convention that was held in Seneca Falls, N.Y. Today, the day is used not only to recognize the passage of the Amendment, but for activists, regardless of gender to rededicate themselves to eliminating female discrimination.
