A disabled Vietnam veteran and members of American Legion Post 274 in Peekskill clashed at a recent council meeting regarding whether the city was properly flying the American Flag at City Hall, according to a story at theexaminernews.com. George Ondek, a past commander of the Disabled American Veterans, said the city was violating a federal code that says the American Flag should be flown in the center and above all other flags, the story said.
