A Peekskill man faces criminal contempt charges after police said he violated an order of protection, according to Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith. Luis A. Rivera, 32, was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 22, after he was found in the basement of a house on Pleasant Road in Putnam Valley, police said.
