Mashpee Men Releases Book During Black History Month

Louis Horner of Mashpee wrote the book "Who Will Water the Flowers?" Below, as a cadet in Peekskill, New York. Mashpee resident Louis F. Horner became the first black Little Leaguer in Stratford, Connecticut; the first black class president at his high school; and the first black graduate from the now-defunct Peekskill Military Academy in Peekskill, New York, a member of the Class of 1962.
