MARCH 31, 2017: Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the arrest of a Dutchess County man on multiple charges after he allegedly threatened a sheriff's deputy and a state trooper with a box cutter following a disturbance in Putnam Valley. On March 27, 2017 at 10:09 p.m., a deputy sheriff and a state trooper responded to a 911 call reporting an altercation between persons at a residence on Lake Drive in the Lake Peekskill section of Putnam Valley.
