A temporary lockout has been lifted at the Peekskill Middle School after police apprehended a "suspicious individual" that is currently in custody. At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, a suspicious individual was spotted on the middle school campus, prompting administrators to enter its precautionary lockout protocol, district communications specialist Laura Belfiore said.
