'Significant Black Ice' Will Affect Cortlandt and Peekskill Morning Commute

The snow has moved on, but the National Weather Service has extended a winter weather advisory for Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties until 9 a.m. Tuesday due to ice on roadways and sidewalks. Next, the temperature falls into the teens overnight Monday, freezing sleet, slush, snow-melt and standing water.
