The Field Gallery of Peekskill will be holding an opening reception for "Racing on a Broken Road," Betsy Braun Lane's exhibit of photography, archival documents, and oral tradition detailing the Peekskill and Cortlandt area's African/ European/ Native American pioneers and patriots. The exhibit will run from Saturday, Feb. 21 through Sunday, April 19. A reception will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A snow date for the reception is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 22, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. In "Racing on a Broken Road," Braun Lane skillfully combines her work as an artist, photographer, historian and researcher.
