YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. A man was recently arrested on three misdemeanor charges for assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Yorktown Police Department. Ernest Burkett, 32, of Peekskill, is being detained by the Westchester County Department of Corrections in lieu of $5,000 cash or a $10,000 bail bond, court records show.
