The Paramount Theater in downtown Peekskill first opened with a gala event on June 27, 1930, and to celebrate its 85th anniversary, the theater will hold another gala celebration on June 27, 2015. The historic venue will celebrate that anniversary with a live concert from the Marshall Tucker Band with opening act Sundown, a historical slide show and an exhibition of vintage photos from the Paramount's storied past, a special commemorative playbill for concertgoers, raffles and an auction for authenticated signed guitars from some of music's biggest stars, and more.
