House Fire on Division Street Displaces 4 Families

It took Peekskill firefighters about four hours to extinguish the blaze at 209 South Division St. Their biggest task was keeping the fire from spreading to any of the adjacent buildings, fire officials told Fios1 News. Red Cross volunteers operated a canteen to support the firefighters and began working with the four families-nine adults and seven children-who were displaced.
