The door to the building department, which is inside Peekskill City Hall at 840 Main Street, appeared to be forced open and there was damage to the door, according to Mayor Frank Catalina. The incident occurred in the midst of an investigation by Westchester County District Attorney's Office into Councilwoman Drew Claxton and her son after she received a $15,000 grant from the Preservation Company in Peekskill to fix up a house.
