It is not uncommon for student athletes to be recognized for their academic and/or athletic achievements, but to have an entire team receive awards for such accomplishments is a much less common occurrence. This is one of the reasons the Peekskill City School District is excited to announce that their Girls' Varsity Swim Team has been honored by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association as Scholar Athletes.
