A 19-year-old woman from Lake Peekskill was arrested Thursday after using her child to smuggle a prescription drug into jail, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Alexa E. Michalko was charged with promoting prison contraband and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the incident at the Dutchess County Jail, according to a press release.
