Jeffrey Deskovic testified in federal court on Tuesday, Oct. 21, giving his version of what happened when Putnam County Investigator Daniel Stephens allegedly coerced him into falsely confessing to the rape and murder of a 15-year old girl in 1989, according to LoHud.com. Deskovic claimed that Stephens yelled at him for hours and promised he would be sent to a mental hospital instead of serving jail time, LoHud.com reported.
