State Spends Millions On One-Mile Stretch Of Route 202/35

An $11 million state project to help ease congestion along the one mile stretch of Route 202/35 between the Bear Mountain Bridge and the Taconic Parkway has relieved a great deal of heartburn and headaches for Westchester commuters, according to LoHud.com. The project expanded Route 202/35 to four lanes and allowed Peekskill-bound drivers to merge onto the road instead of clogging up the on-ramp at a stop sign, LoHud.com reported.
