State Police in Cortlandt are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday night in front of the Peekskill Animal Hospital near Route 202. A woman reported that at approximately 11:30 p.m., she was walking home from the Beech Shopping Center and was approached by a man who forcibly took her belongings, according to state police.
